Each participant will reach the Olbia area independently either by car, plane or ship.

Your personal luggage-suitcase will be picked up in the morning and taken with the van from time to time at the end of the stage in the evening, you will ride only with a small backpack. ATTENTION: THE LUGGAGE OF EACH PARTICIPANT MUST NOT BE LARGE SIZE AND MUST NOT EXCEED 20 KG (EXTRA 50 EURO)

Let's go! The exploration-adventure begins NATURAID SARDINIA EXPLORER from Olbia to Cagliari crossing suggestive and still little known places, such as Gallura, the impenetrable Supramonte, the mountains of Gennargentu and Ogliastra, the valleys of Flumendosa before ending in the huge cultivated expanse which was the granary of ancient Italy: the Campidano.
Wake up is at 7:00 and the stage departure is set at 8:00 every day after a hearty breakfast.
Check the backpack: repair kit, camera, hygienic wipes, foular or hat, change shirt, windproof jacket, high protection cream, mobile phone, goggles, salts and bars.
Cold or packed lunch along the track. (2 sandwiches, and fruit or cold pasta salad).
Dinner, overnight stay and breakfast are in a farmhouse or similar structures.
The typical Sardinian welcome and exquisite cuisine will make you spend excellent evenings listening to stories and tasting local specialties every evening. Water and house wine included.
We will find in Capoterra the packaging to pack the bike.
For those leaving, transfer to Cagliari (included), to the airport, to the port, to the FS train station.
The boxes of the bikes will be transported from the starting point to the arrival point of the adventure.
This is a journey that you will remember for its intensity and beauty of the places.

Each participant will reach the Olbia area independently. (WE RECOMMEND TO BOOK FLIGHTS AND FERRIES IN LARGE ADVANCE, THERE MAY BE OPPORTUNITIES FOR A FEW TENS OF EUROS)
The Naturaid Sardegna Explorer trip will last 8 days including 7 days of cycling.
The stages vary from 50 to 70 km with altitude differences from 1300 to 1600 m per day.
The maximum altitude about 1800 m.
THE DIFFICULTY OF THE TOUR IS MEDIUM-HIGH AND IT IS RECOMMENDED FOR MEDIUM-TRAINED BIKERS
The affected area will be the east from Olbia to Capoterra (20 km from Cagliari).
It will be a continuous succession of landscapes and small villages, holm oak and cork forests, arid mountains, mining areas, gorges, archaeological areas.
The slopes will be good, even if some sections have been ruined and dug up by the exceptional rains of recent years.
There will be several single tracks in the woods and on the hills, they will be difficult and technical at times, but really spectacular that will give a lot of satisfaction.
IT IS ABSOLUTELY MANDATORY TO ALWAYS WEAR THE HELMET LATCHED EVEN ON HILLS, ALWAYS KEEP THE DISTANCE BETWEEN BIKERS, A MODERATE SAFETY SPEED AND GET OFF THE BIKE IN THE MOST DANGEROUS ROUTES.
There will be some sections of secondary asphalted road not very busy, limited transfer kilometers to link one path to another.
The distance for each stage will be around 50-70km with a positive elevation gain of around 1300-1600m.
The stage will be broken up with a refreshment point for a packed lunch (INCLUDED).
Lunch will be sometimes cold, pasta alla giardiniera with tuna and vegetables, and sometimes packed and will be provided: 2 stuffed sandwiches and fruit.
There will be no cars in tow (SOME TIMES IF POSSIBLE AT THE PIC NIC) because the tracks do not allow it, and each participant must be autonomous during the ride, bringing with them the material for small repairs and punctures, have some bars with them and for how long it concerns water at least 2 L at each refueling, which will be supplied only in the morning before departure and at the refreshment point.
Overnight stays will be in B&B and farmhouse with breakfast and dinner (INCLUDED). The accommodation in rooms according to the availability of the structures, double, triple or even quadruple.
It will be an important journey full of small unexpected events because the areas crossed are truly wild which offer many surprises that we are used to, but it will certainly be a nice memory for life.
The program may undergo significant variations if the climatic or unforeseen conditions do not allow the safety of the entire group.
It is recommended to adapt to the rhythms and to the local culture without getting irritated or impatient.

Many people know Sardinia for its splendid sea that is unrivaled in the world, but few people know its isolated and still wild interior.
Here is a truly spectacular new MTB adventure trip within this wonderful island.
An imaginary line to be pedaled, about 450 km made up of tracks, dirt roads, mule tracks, single tracks.
7 stages with about 10,000 meters in altitude to get to know the hinterland, its picturesque villages and its people, passing forests, arid areas, plateaus, through the mountain range that runs like a backbone on the highest, secret, hidden mountains and wild of the island.
You will walk the old paths of transhumance, carbonari, poachers, miners, away from the classic tourist routes.
